Guía Oficial de Competencia - Solo IPAs
🎯 1. Objetivo y Estilos Permitidos
Solo se aceptarán cervezas del estilo IPA (India Pale Ale) y sus variantes.
Subestilos Aceptados:
American IPA
West Coast IPA
New England / Hazy IPA
Cold IPA
Session IPA
Double / Imperial IPA
Black IPA
Rye IPA
Belgian IPA
Brut IPA
Red IPA
White IPA
Brown IPA
👥 2. Elegibilidad
Categorías: Abierta a cerveceros caseros (Homebrewers) y profesionales bajo formato PRO-AM.
Límite de Entradas: Máximo de 2 cervezas por participante.
Nota: Ambas deben ser recetas distintas.
🛠 3. Requisitos de la Cerveza
Autoría: La cerveza debe haber sido diseñada y elaborada por el participante.
Estado: Debe estar carbonatada y lista para el consumo inmediato.
Perfil: El carácter del lúpulo (aroma, sabor y amargor) debe ser el protagonista indiscutible.
📦 4. Entrega de Muestras
Cada cerveza deberá entregarse con:
Cantidad: 2 botellas o latas de 12oz a 16oz por cada entrada.
Presentación: * 🚫 Sin etiquetas comerciales.
📅 Logística de Entrega
Fechas: Miércoles 15 al sábado 18 de abril de 2026.
Lugar: La Esquinita Jardín Cervecero, Bayamón
📝 Notas requeridas para cada cerveza entrada
Al entregar, debe proveer:
Nombre de la cerveza.
Subestilo específico.(ej. West Coast IPA, Cold IPA, Session IPA etc.)
ABV (%) aproximado.
Ingredientes especiales (ej. frutas, especias, maderas).
⚖️ 5. Evaluación y Criterios
Las cervezas se evaluarán a ciegas por jueces designados por La Esquinita.
• Aroma (0-10)
• Sabor (0-20)
• Apariencia (0-5)
• Sensación en boca (0-5)
• Impresión general (0-10)
⚠️ 6. Penalizaciones y Descalificación
Serán causas de descalificación automática:
Muestras que no pertenezcan a la familia de las IPAs.
Contaminación evidente (acidez no deseada, fenoles medicinales, etc.).
Violación del anonimato en el envase.
Entregas fuera del plazo establecido.
🏆 7. Premiación
Se otorgará un reconocimiento único al máximo exponente de la competencia:
🏅 Mejor IPA - La Esquinita IPA CUP WINNER
Se entregarán las hojas de notas y retroalimentación técnica a todos los participantes para fomentar la mejora en futuras elaboraciones.
📋 8. Aceptación
La inscripción en La Esquinita IPA Cup implica la aceptación total de estas reglas. La decisión del panel de jueces será final e inapelable.
