Rules

PEOPLES CHOICE: Homebrewer Rules ONLY

  • Homebrewers Only

-Each Entry Must Consist of 5 gallons of Beer, whether in keg or bottles.

  • Homebrew entrys are FREE. Ignore the fees. We'll waive them.

  • They will ONLY be judged as Peoples Choice.  People entering the festival will receive two tickets that they can use to vote for your beer.  Near the end of the festival, all the tickets, i.e. votes, will be tabulated and winners will be chosen.

  • The homebrewers will ALWAYS be free to enter their beer at our comps! Simply register your beers and we will mark your fees as PAID.

  • Homebrewers recieve one free ticket per 5 gallons brought to the festival.

  • Each person serving beer MUST have a On-Premises Server Permit on their person day of the festival. Companies such as Tennessee ABC Cards offer an online option and are pretty affordable.  Ensure you read all the instructions and that you're getting the correct permit. The burden will be on you to ensure you have this. If you do not have your server permit on your person the day of the festival you will not be permitted to pour beer. No volunteer pourers will be available to pour your beer from the festival.  If you don't have a permit and don't want to get one, you can get a friend to pour for you if they have a permit, but you can not touch the taps and pour beer.   It's not terribly costly to get the permit, the course is simple.

People's Choice 2nd Place (Beer) - $TBD and Plaque

People's Choice 1st Place (Non-Beer) - $TBD and Plaque

People's Choice 2nd Place (Non-Beer) - $TBD and Plaque

Best Brew Club/Homebrewery Lineup: All entries at particular "homebrewery", Club, etc will have single beer/non-beer votes tabulated. The tent with the most votes wins. - Plaque and TBD

Best Dessert Inspired Beverage--> Plaque and TBD
>This category will nominate the Best Dessert Inspired Beer. A beer that evokes the spirit of a particular dessert. The festival is about sampling delicious libations. Small taster glasses are the best vessel for trying these types of beverages AND the public love this shit. Sweet or Sour. Thats up to you. Personally, a good dry and bitter German Pils is what I like to consume. But if your trying to appease the thirsty hoards, a big Tiramusu Stout or a Pumpkin Pie Cider will be the ticket.
>Register this beer in the specialty category "Dessert Beverage."
>The winning Dessert Beverage will be the beer with the most tickets that was entered in the Dessert Beverage Cateogry. All ties will be broken by combining the breweres other entries.
